Regarding trolls: This journal is intended for the sole purpose of on-line interaction with a few select friends. Any particularly personal entries will be friends-only. I have absolutely no interest in any debates whatsoever, so please do not bring them here. There are many venues where I enjoy spirited discourse, but LiveJournal is not one of them. I have found this service prime for breeding intellectual dishonesty in the form of asinine pseudo-debates, wherein ad hominem witty retorts emitted by insecure cadres of digital cohorts trump respectful intellectual reasoning by the few. I’m sick of such foolishness and I will take appropriate action in the event that someone clearly disregards my request and chooses to engage in obvious harassment. My profound passivity in personal interaction and deep personal commitment to free and productive debate are equaled only by my abhorrence of bullying disguised as discourse, particularly when said bullying is specifically designed to provoke an intensely negative emotional response and not to express anything other than support for derision. I am very familiar with the rules of this service and I will aggressively pursue said action without hesitance. I maintain a professional and personal specialty in successful argumentation on matters of policy to the result of a favorable outcome for myself. And if need be, I can and will prove it again. It would be to your benefit to review Chaplinsky v. State of New Hampshire, 315 US 568 (1941) and all pertinent precedent regarding media and Internet legislation before even attempting to test me on this.
